Make sure you’re sleeping enough

Do you wake up not feeling well-rested? Do you rely on caffeine for an extra energy boost in the morning? Then it may be time to tweak your sleeping schedule. As an adult, it is recommended to get at least 7 hours of sleep every day. Of course, this depends on each person, you may even need a bit more to wake up feeling refreshed.

Move whenever you can

Make it fun! –being sedentary for too long isn't good! Walk around your room, take a walk outside, or maybe go on a bike ride… Put some headphones on and get outside!

Take a break from technology every now and then

A social media detox is sometimes necessary. Social media might distract you from what you need to get done.

Listen to your body

Make sure you’re eating the foods that make your body feel good. Respect your hunger and fullness-cues, stay hydrated, and eat as balanced as you can.

Practice self-love

Even if you want to change your body or mindset, you should always be kind and compassionate to yourself every step of the way. A helpful trick is to talk to yourself as if you’re a small child, or you’re best friend. Be forgiving to your body, it works hard to keep you alive every day!
